dot-art is a Liverpool based social enterprise, launched in 2006, which supports visual artists and champions creativity as an integral part of daily life, with a focus on collaboration and sustainability. We do this by selling locally sourced, affordable art through our Liverpool city centre gallery and website, working with businesses to put art in the workplace and public realm, running art classes and working with schools and community groups. We also have framing and fine art printing services, a dark room, affordable artists studios and much more!
Our vision is to enable everyone to enrich their lives through art. The heart of our organisation is a membership scheme for local artists, offering a package of support and opportunties for them to build and develop creative careers. We exhibit, market and promote their work to indivdual and corporate customers to ensure as many people as possible have art in their lives at home and at work. We also run a wide range of art classes for the general public, encouraging people to embrace their own creativity. Our dot-art Schools and Art Bytes programmes celebrate creativity in schools regionally and nationally respectively, and help nurture the next generation of creatives.
