We are a new service for expecting and new parents. We have not applied for any funding and have self financed the company and premises set up. We are looking for ways to have an impact on our community and reduce health inequalities. We know antenatal education and support can make a difference and want to engage more women from vulnerable or ethnic minority backgrounds. We are midwives and have recently left our NHS roles mainly due to the frustration of working within a culture unwilling to grow/change. We believe informing women of their options and rights will help to empower them and their families to advocate for themselves and improve health outcomes.
