Queensway collective is a community interest company that platforms female, non-binary and LGBTQIA+ electronic music artists. We do this by forming relationships with organisations of cultural significance in the local area such as Sound City, Homotopia and the Invisible Wind Factory and offering paid opportunities to artists. We also provide a safe and supportive community for underrepresented people through the likes of our instagram and soundcloud.
Earlier this year we secured a grant to enable the running of a 10 week DJ workshop for 13 underrepresented people to learn how to DJ, using industry standard equipment from an experienced workshop leader.
