Better Lives supports older people to live independent and meaningfully better lives, by maintaining their independence at home. We do this by delivering our SHOP service providing shopping and cleaning calls whilst creating a supportive relationship with a regular Supporter. We additionally have our TASK service which is in place to keep older and vulnerable safe from rogue traders by holding a directory of reputable and a reliable local traders to allow people to safely keep up the maintenance on their home. Within Knowsley we are a member of the steering group to enable a nationally recognised Age Friendly Community.
As a registered charity we are a not for profit organisation and all income earned through our traded services are used to support the business and enhance our social impact.
