One Knowsley works with the Knowsley community; those who live, work and invest in the borough and want to do good for Knowsley residents and build strong communities.
One Knowsley is a charitable company that evolved from Huyton with Roby Council for Social Service (HCSS) inaugurated in 1963 to provide support to local volunteers and establish local responses to local need.
In 1974 the district authority of Knowsley was created. Strong, passionate and active communities firmly put people at the heart of Knowsley the Place.
One Knowsley provides the expertise and support to help voluntary, community, faith and not-for-profit (Social Sector) to start, grow, build resilience, establish enterprise and have a visible and valued role within the borough.
One Knowsley is an independent voice leading influence on policy and practice, supporting consultation with communities and representation within partnerships.
One Knowsley is the centre for civil society in Knowsley.
